What a beautiful day today! After a very nice riding day on Wednesday we did some more riding
through the San Diego County today. All I can say is, it is absolutely gorgeous in here! These guys
live in motorcycle heaven. The roads here are absolutely phenomenal! Many thanks to Jim Williams
and Jim Halbert for the fantastic day! — mit Rene Jeremias und Jim Halbert.

Sometimes the shit just sticks to you
and you will not get rid of it!
After my bike got a service in Puebla on monday I tried to leave the
city on tuesday afternoon. I took my time because there are so many
things to see. Thank god I did that! When I left the city all of a
sudden my clutch was gone! No chance to shift the gears anymore.
It was not really difficult to detect that the whole oil was gone. As
often I was once again lucky in this situation because the bike broke
directly in front of a nice Holiday Inn hotel and this time not in the
middle of nowhere. So all I had to do was waiting on the friendly
KTM mechanic. He came and fixed the problem.
But you wouldn't believe what he gave me before he started working
at the bike?! My credit card!!!
We where talking so much at the KTM dealer that I just forgot the
card. They realised that two hours later but they had no chance to
contact me. So from now on I definitely believe in destiny!!!
Sometimes life is simply strange!
Because it was so late right now I decided to stay one more night in
Puebla. Which was also good because at the next day I detected
that the problem with the clutch wasn't solved. Everytime when the
engine gots really hot the oil of the clutch was leaking. Like a hot girl!
So I went back to the KTM dealer twice that day and finaly we - no
he - found a solution for it. Once again I have to say that I'm really
satisfied with the service. They did a really good job. They took of all
the parts from the bike and cleaned it from the dirt that still was
sticking on it from Alaska. Now Elektra looks brand new.
Oh, did I mention that I had my first contact with a car in Puebla? I
came along with a real asshole of a driver. This guy wouldn't let me
in his lane. Instead he drove against my left pannier. He did it on
purpose! Oh my god, when he did this the world stood still for a
moment. I freaked total out!!! All the people around us, at the bus
station and where ever where looking at us. I couldn't stop to to
scream at him! Lucky as I was nothing was broken at the bike (I
didn't drop it) but his car had a nice scratch. He couldn't say anything
at all and escaped. F... a...!
Now my wrist is aching but thanks to Cathy from San Diego I carry
enough Ibuprofen with. So one guardian angel comes to another.
Thanks to all of them!
As I said, sometimes the shit just sticks to you and you will not get
rid of it! I'm looking forward to more lucky days. Otherwise I'll go
back to San Diego!
I just added some pictures from better days.
Alles was ich
wirklich in seltsamen Bahnen.
wieder richtig in Schuss gebracht.
So prallten
unsere Egos aufeinander.
selten zuvor in meinem Leben! Ich konnte einfach nicht aufhören
diesen Penner anzuschreien!
A...!!!
wenigstens Luft verschaffen. Dank Cathy aus San Diego führe ich
auch genügend Ibuprofen mit mir. So kommt ein Schutzengel zum
anderen. Tausend Dank an alle!
